Fourth-grade classes are invited to join school docents for a virtual field trip to Rancho Los Alamitos. Please contact (562) 431-3541 or schools@rancholosalamitos.org for the latest information about availability.

What are fourth-grade virtual field trips like?
Complementing California's history and social science curriculum, school docents lead live, interactive sessions on Zoom similar to our Footprints on the Land field trip. Each 1-hour session features one area (the Ranch House, Gardens, or Barnyard) of the historic site. Docents share California history as they travel around the Rancho, and the presentation will also include primary sources and prompts that invite interaction.Learn more about field trip topics and dates here >>

What about third-grade classes?
Third-grade classes will be invited later this spring to sign up for access to a video series created by Tongva Cultural Educators that supports California's third-grade history and social science curriculum, similar to our Tovaave: A Tongva Cultural Program field trip. Please stay tuned for information about how to sign up.

We look forward to virtually welcoming you and your students to the Rancho this school year!
